ABOUT

JamieEllisCOO: Who am I?  Why am I here?

Let me first say that there are so many important people in my life that have led to the creations of JamieEllisCOO. People who have helped me become the person I am today.  No one is more important to me than my beautiful girls.  Jill (wife) and Paige (daughter) are always in my heart – wherever I go.  When I’m not with them, I miss them tremendously.  They are the source of my power – of everything I do.  I thank God for bringing them into my life

Speaking of my life, it’s been a journey.  To quote Jim Morrison, it’s “the strangest life I’ve ever known”.  I’ve always tried to find my place in life, feeling that I haven’t “arrived”.  Over the last few years, God has assured me that “I have made it”.  My goal is and has always been to make a positive impact on the lives of others.  As I grow older, God has showed me the way to make the most positive impact.  He has also told me that “I dun good”!  JamieEllisCOO is an attempt to continue my outreach to other individuals, firms, companies, etc.  I want to share the stories I feel are most relevant and explain why it should be important to you (personally, as a manager, as a leader) or you company.  If I can even make a positive impact on just one person or organization, I feel good about it.

God has called me to action and I’m accepting the challenge.  Yes, I am still the COO of a major accounting firm, but I’m also a “life COO” and a “business mentor”.  On this website, COO doesn’t have to stand for Chief Operating Officer.  Maybe it stands for “Counselor Of Others” or “Chief Outreach Officer”.  The point is, I want to help others and teach the many lessons I’ve learned along the way while also sharing stories about the bumps and scars I’ve received/earned.  I hope you find the content meaningful and refreshing.

By the way, there would be 2 very upset beagles if I didn’t include them in my “about me” page.  Meet Lilly and Marley (with Paige), my other two girls.  Yes , I lead a tough life surrounded by my ladies.  What they don’t know is that they (all four of them) form a shield around me that gives me the courage to live out my life the way God intends.

Thanks for coming with me on this journey!
